What we hold, and why.

What we collect

To process an order we need your name, email address, delivery address and your chosen delivery and payment method. If you subscribe to our newsletter we hold your email address for that purpose. If you contact us, we hold what you send us.

We never see or store your full card details. Card payments are handled by our payment provider.

Why we hold it

To fulfil your order and meet our obligations to you as a buyer, to answer your enquiries, and to keep the records we are required by law to keep. Where we send you marketing, we do so on the basis of your consent and you can withdraw it at any time.

Who processes it for us

We do not sell your data. We do rely on suppliers who process it on our behalf in order to run the shop:

Our ecommerce platform, which hosts the checkout and holds order records. Our payment provider, which processes card payments. The carriers who deliver your bike. Our email provider, if you have subscribed. Analytics and measurement services used on the checkout, which record how the shop is used.

Cookies

These pages set only what is needed to make the site and your basket work. The checkout, which runs on our ecommerce platform, additionally uses cookies for measurement.

How long we keep it

Order records for as long as we are required to keep them for tax and accounting. Newsletter subscriptions until you unsubscribe. Enquiries for as long as they are useful in serving you.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it or erase it, object to or restrict how we use it, and ask for it in a portable form. You can withdraw consent to marketing at any time.
